How to Post Content to a Facebook Brand Page Timeline

I know this is veryyyyyy basic knowledge. But in diagraming this out recently for a previous employer (to help them maintain the community after I left) I thought this could be useful. So in its most simplistic form, here is how to post content to a Facebook brand page timeline. Otherwise known as, a profile for a business or brand.

On the left hand navigation, click the Facebook brand page or company icon.

Scroll down to find the status post dialog box. Start to enter text, click Post if you are done and want to post that text.

 

If you want to upload a photo or video, click the Photo/Video button and select a piece of content and click Open to attach it to your post. Add text if you’d like, and click Post once you are finished.

Here is how your post will look on your timeline.
